Inspiring Futures Envision Final

We had an unforgettable day at Birmingham City Football Club as six Inspiring Futures schools took centre stage for our first-ever Inspiring Futures Envision Final:

CORE City Academy
CORE JQA
King Edward VI Sheldon Heath
STAR Leadership Academy
John Henry Newman Catholic College

Each team delivered powerful, creative pitches tackling real issues facing young people today, from celebrating cultural differences to supporting mental health initiatives. The energy, confidence and passion in the room were incredible.

Huge congratulations to the winners: King Edward VI Sheldon Heath! Their brilliant project, The Buddy Bench, was to create a welcoming space where students can relax, connect and make new friends. A simple idea with big impact, strong legacy and presented with real heart.

The Inspiring Futures programme is all about unlocking potential, and these students proved exactly what’s possible when young people lead the way

A massive thank you to Envision, the amazing school staff, the other judges, including Shah Begum (Head of Social Value) from our Sister company SCC and of course every young person who stepped up and shared their ideas.
